Kathleen revisits her farming days

One of our residents Kathleen spent many enjoyable years on the farm in the heart of Cheshire as a farmer’s wife whilst bringing up her family. We took a trip with some of or residents and Kathleen to Bidlea Dairy farm to meet with the farm animals including, sheep, chickens, and cows. During the trip, we bumped into the ladies from the Women’s Institute Group of which Kathleen has been a member for the past 60 years! To finish off a lovely day out we stopped at the farm shop to pick up fresh ice cream straight from the dairy, which greatly enjoyed by all.
