A Well-Deserved Night of pampering!

At Haddon Hall Care Home, our incredible team gives 100% every single day to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care, love and support.

To show our immense gratitude for their unwavering dedication and hard work, our manager treated the team to a much needed, relaxing spa night.

From unwinding in the gorgeous outdoor pool, to enjoying the variety of treatments available and of course the prosecco, it was the perfect opportunity to recharge their batteries.

A massive thank you to our phenomenal staff for everything they do- you are the heart and soul of our home.

As it was Dementia Action Week, we invited Porthaven’s Dementia Lead, Leon Smith, to host our first dementia memory cafe along with our RDCM, Louise.

Our memory cafe is a safe space for us to support our families of those living with dementia, to discuss and share feelings, experiences, challenges and ideas together.

We are very fortunate here at Haddon Hall Care Home to be part of Porthaven, who invest in developing dementia care. Our RDCM Louise is supported in her role by Leon and the Head of Dementia, Jason.

Our Easter celebrations!

We welcomed children who came in to make Easter bonnets and participate in an Easter egg hunt organised by the Easter Bunny. The fabulous Sophia, the singing harpist, performed for us and she was absolutely brilliant.

Following the performance, we enjoyed an Easter-themed afternoon tea featuring a special Easter Bunny cake created by our talented chefs. On Sunday, our wonderful activities team delivered Easter eggs or daffodils to each of our residents.

It’s safe to say that we had a marvellous Easter here at Haddon Hall Care Home!
