Opened in 2016, Woodland Manor provides 24 hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly in an elegant and spacious home incorporating numerous thoughtful and practical features which ensure Woodland Manor is able to meet the changing needs of its residents.

Our expertly trained and professional staff are dedicated to the care, comfort and dignity of all our residents, with special emphasis given to promoting independence, privacy, respect and wellbeing.

Our wonderful Woodland Volunteers

Our volunteers consistently work hard in our garden every Wednesday afternoon. However, this month, we took the opportunity to thank them with some refreshments and hold a catch-up meeting.

Dementia Action Week at Woodland Manor.

Here at Woodland Manor, we are very proud to have staff specialised in dementia care.

Keeping family and friends informed, and giving them the opportunity to ask questions about their loved ones, is at the heart of what we do.

We would like to say a big thank you to Sally Blackden, our local specialised dementia expert, for joining us and giving a very informative talk about dementia to everyone who came to join us in marking Dementia Action Week.

A big thank you also to Terry Gleed for his outstanding performance! He made us sing and smile!

What an amazing day we had! We couldn’t have asked for more!

World Hula Week!

In recognition of World Hula Week, we picked up a couple of hoops and had fun circling our hips.

We also marked the Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Festival, a vibrant spring celebration and popular week-long annual hula competition.

To make it even more fun, we’re decorating our home with bright flowers made by our residents for our annual Spring Fayre.
