Last month at Haddon Hall we welcomed the ironically named ‘Tiny Tablet’ into our home. The ‘Tiny Tablet’ is a large interactive tablet that can be used to play a variety of games, puzzles and quizzes, as well as allowing residents to access sensory apps. These activities can be played at varying levels for people of different abilities, which makes it the perfect tool to stimulate and challenge the mind of every one of our residents. Our residents are looking forward to this new form of entertainment, as well as the opportunity to keep up to date with developing technology in our ever-advancing world. One of our residents, George, thoroughly enjoyed an IT lesson on this device and was playing draughts against the computer within the same day. He found it marvellous, and it certainly helped that he beat the game in no time!
