‘Mum has been living at Upton Mill Care Home for 4 months, during that time she has settled in incredibly well and already says she’s very happy to be there. All the staff are very friendly, caring and professional – when I visit I always feel very welcome. The facilities on offer at Upton Mill are first rate and the surroundings are well thought-out and tastefully designed. It’s lovely to be able to get a coffee and cake when I visit and relax, either in her lovely room or in one of the many communal areas or gardens. Mum is also able to go on trips in Upton Mill’s minibus, she has made new friends and taken part in the many tailored activities that the home has to offer. Truly a home away from home.’

‘From the moment we entered the home we were met with warmth, compassion and friendliness. We were made to feel part of the family environment they promote. My mother was well looked after by a very caring and professional team that met her every need. ‘Mum was reluctant to move to a care home, but once she visited Wiltshire Heights she was won over by the impressive facilities and friendly staff. She settled in well; living there from February 2019 to March 2024. Mum was safe, fed well and looked after there – she was happier than I’ve ever seen her in my whole life! She soon made friends among the other residents, usually sharing a table together at mealtimes. She enjoyed walking the corridor for exercise, participating in group activities and meeting other residents and staff (whom she often hugged – a reflection of the kindness they showed to her). I know Mum was well cared for there and treated with love and respect. Wiltshire Heights is exceptionally well run, with a clear team spirit and an ethos that all people matter. The result is happy staff who are friendly, open and professional in their attitude and always ready to help. It’s just what Mum needed and what I needed for her. Thank you so much!’

‘I am so grateful for the care and attention paid to my mum since her move to Cavell Park. She has been treated with dignity and respect which has reassured me my mum is in a safe environment with attentive staff who care for her well-being.
