World Arthritis Day
Did you know that approximately 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis? On the 12th of October we spent World Arthritis Day discussing the condition with our Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator Audrey. She told our residents everything she knows about arthritis, and even brought in an x-ray of her hand to show everybody. Our residents were curious to know more and were particularly thrilled at the opportunity to see a real x-ray. At Penhurst Gardens we help our residents living with arthritis manage the condition by keeping active, looking after their joints and eating healthily.
