Macmillan Coffee Morning

Last month here at Wiltshire Heights Care Home, we took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in connection with Macmillan to raise awareness and important funds.
Our fantastic kitchen team coordinated with local caterer, Sarah Cousins, Simply Delicious Catering, who very kindly agreed to judge the sweet treats. Our residents and relatives were spoilt for choice with banana cake, Biscoff loaf, carrot cake, chocolate cake and there were even Turkish sweet delicacies on offer!
Sarah tasted and scored the cakes made by our staff members, residents and relatives and we were joined throughout the morning by members of the local Bradford on Avon community.
Our wonderful night carer, Lisa Little, took first place with her delicious banana and Biscoff loaf and in total, we raised nearly £90.00 for a cause very close to our hearts. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it a success!
