With Halloween looming we decided to take a trip in our Wiltshire Heights minibus to our local farm shop so we could pick out some pumpkins. Our residents were amazed to see an enormous display of pumpkins of different shapes, colours and sizes, and had a hard time picking their favourites to take home. We managed to visit on a gorgeous autumn morning with hardly a cloud in the sky, which made the experience even better. One of our residents, Mary, was even gifted a small pumpkin by the shop owner! Our residents decided that we should use some of the smaller pumpkins to hold flower arrangements that we will be making. The larger pumpkins will be creatively carved and displayed on each floor for everybody to enjoy.
