Happy 103rd Birthday Ethel
In October we celebrated our resident Ethel’s 103rd birthday. The Woodland Manor activities and wellbeing team invited Annie, a talented classical pianist from Dr Challoner’s Grammar School, to perform for Ethel on her birthday. Annie even brought Ethel a beautiful yellow rose as a gift! Our kitchen team honoured Ethel’s request for a lemon drizzle cake and this was enjoyed by all after the piano performance. Our staff popped a bottle of champagne and everybody toasted to Ethel as she opened her presents. It is safe to say that we all had a fantastic time celebrating this brilliant woman. Happy Birthday Ethel!
