Happy Chinese New Year!

Here at Astbury Mere Care Home we celebrated the Chinese New Year with a day full of themed activities, which included a craft workshop where our residents made some gorgeous paper lanterns. These were then used to decorate our dining room so that our residents could enjoy their delicious Chinese New Year dinner in style. Our brilliant chefs prepared two fantastic dishes for our residents to choose from, with chopsticks on offer for those up to the challenge! To finish off the celebrations our residents each received a fortune cookie so that they could find out what to expect from the Year of the Rabbit.
