We celebrated National Cadets Week!

In honour of this special week, we wanted to share a life story of one of our residents who was in the RAF for 36 years, eventually retiring as a Wing Commander.

He was the mentor for the RAF Air Cadets in Somerset and taught them flying skills. He also organised their parades, marches, attended their sporting activities and organised comping.

We would like to thank him for taking the time to share his inspiring story – it is no surprise his children and grandchildren followed his teachings and became cadets, which made him very proud!
